Due to a special shooting and post production technique, these images yield vastly superior color and contrast renditions over more traditional images. One of the problems with today’s stock photo libraries is that all the images look the same. At one of the stock photo agencies, a search for “businesswoman headset” - you know that image of the attractive woman wearing a telephone headset that seems to be on every business website these days – calls up 5,000 images that all look the same.
Not exactly something the world needs more of… and not a way to establish the distinction of your own brand.
To remedy this, I have begun making unique stock photography available directly through my website. To ensure the images are not overused or misused in ways that can harm the legitimate users of my images, newer images are being licensed as rights managed stock photos only.
One of the newest series to go up features an attractive woman enjoying the grand Colorado lifestyle. Images were shot in several locations near Golden, Boulder, and Estes Park and feature rivers, streams, mountains, ranches and the beautiful Rocky Mountain Scenery. Stock photos of Marble Colorado, a ghost town on the western slope of Colorado south of Glenwood Springs, near Redstone. Marble is the site of a large marble quarry, known as the place the block of marble for the Lincoln Memorial came from. The quary is still used occasionally, but the area is mainly a ghost town, with “log” cabins, picnic tables, and more made from marble. Even the paths are lined with marble dust. These photos are located in the Colorado Ghost Town section of my site and are available under a royalty free license.
